The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with internal teams to ensure efficient inventory and operations. This role is critical in maintaining smooth workflows, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting the Huntsville team.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares and process purchase orders for consumables and inventoried items.
- Creates shipping documents for outgoing products (i.e., packing lists).
- Arranges inbound and outbound shipping needs and expedites when necessary.
- Works with vendors and accounting to resolve accounts payable issues and receiving discrepancies.
- Maintains customer portals and report results to management and the plant.
- Prepares monthly reports on supply chain metrics, trends and issues.
- Communicates with production and engineering to understand and incorporate changing consumption/inventory.
- Forecasts part consumption while creating and maintaining min/max levels while accounting for fluctuating lead times and maintaining material replenishment plans.
- Monitors and reports inventory levels based on cycle count procedures and visual inventory locations.
- Provides quotes for provisional and spare parts sales with input from the sales team.
- Orders routine office and plant supplies.
- Supports the plant with administrative duties to include but not limited to delivering mail, document distribution, bank runs, collection of credit card receipts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This position may require up to 20% travel.
Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Experience and Knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supply chain analysis or a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and strong Excel skills.
- Experience in supply chain software a plus.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and present findings.
- Ability to be a self-starter and take initiative.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and across multiple departments.
- Must be customer service oriented.
